Transportation will be provided via shuttles from three pickup locations in town. Shuttle pickup is at 4:30pm from Limelight Hotel, Hotel Ketchum and Sun Valley Bus Loop. We will also have a shuttle at Trail Creek from 9:00pm-11:00pm to take guest back to town. Please see the "Shuttle Information" page for detailed information.

Semi-formal or cocktail attire. The ceremony will be on a grass lawn so plan your footwear accordingly. Don’t forget to check the weather and bring appropriate attire or accessories to ensure your comfort throughout the festivities!

In mid-September, Sun Valley, Idaho typically experiences mild and pleasant weather in the mid to high 60s. There may be a chance of passing showers and the occasional thunderstorm. The evenings can be chilly in the mountains so don’t forget to pack an extra layer!

The wedding ceremony will be fully outdoors at Trail Creek Cabin. Please bring jackets/sweaters and sunglasses in case of colder weather or sun. The cocktail hour will be held outdoors but the wedding reception will take place indoors in a covered heated tent.

Yes, there is parking at Trail Creek Cabin if you would prefer to drive. Make sure to arrive by 4:45pm to be allowed into the venue before the Ceremony. Please do not drive if you plan on drinking at the reception since we will have shuttles provided to get back to town.

We recommend renting a car if you plan to stay a few days in town as Uber/Lyft is not available. If you have a rental car there is plenty of parking, and walking between the Sun Valley Resort and Ketchum is also doable. For those that prefer to use local transportation, there is a great free bus service that runs between Ketchum, Sun Valley Resort, Elkhorn, Warm Springs, and River Run (base of Bald Mountain). Pick-up and drop-off locations will be detailed later.
